Students at Peachland Elementary School Celebrated the legacy of Terry Fox and his support of Cancer Research this week.
On Monday, September 28th, students and staff brought in Pennies totaling $ 166.13
On Tuesday, September 29th , students and staff brought in Nickels totaling $ 122.75
On Wednesday, October 1st, students and staff brought in Dimes totaling $ 209.10
On Thursday, October 2nd, students and staff brought in Quarters totaling $ 190.00
On Friday, October 3rd, students and staff brought in Loonies and/or Toonies totaling $ 128.00
GRAND TOTAL FOR CANCER RESEARCH

On Monday, September 29th, students, staff, and parents held an assembly in the Peachland Gymnasium focused on Terry Fox's life and his accomplishments to support cancer research. Mr. White read 24 interesting fact about Terry Fox while photographs of Terry were displayed on a powerpoint presentation behind them. A short video was also shown to students, staff and parents to remind us how hard Terry worked to raise the awareness of how cancer impacts all people, young and old.
On Tuesday, September 30th, the Peachland School Community ran in support of Terry and families that have been impacted by Cancer.
