Peachland Elementary School is embracing student leadership and the 7 Habits of Happy Kids through a process known as the Leader In Me. Students are fulfilling all sorts of leadership roles both within their classrooms and throughout the school. They are learning the 7 habits of happy kids and applying them. Peachland Elementary School has some of the most advanced robotics technology in the district with the EZ robots pictured here being programmed by grade 3 students. EZ robot humanoids have facial recognition technology and can be used for multiple interdisciplinary learning applications.

A big thank you to both the Ministry of Education for an initial capital funds allocation, and our Peachland Elementary School PAC for their ongoing fundraising efforts to pay for this universally accessible playground.

Peachland Elementary celebrated Drop Everything And Read day in the gym with students, staff, parents, younger siblings and members of the community attending. This annual event promotes the importance of literacy and reading for pleasure.
