PEACHLAND REMEMBERS
On Nov 10th at 9:00 a.m., Peachland Elementary had their 2009 Remembrance Day Assembly. Royal Canadian Leiogion Branch #69, Students, Parents and Staff all took the time
together to relect back upon the sacrifices that our war heroes have made for us to have the rights and freedoms that we have today.
Please take the time to watch some video footage from our assembly.
On October 2th, Peachland Elementary had their first Drop Everything And Read Day
Everyone in the building dropped what they were doing and read for 20 minutes. Teachers, parents, and visitors took part in this opportunity as well.
In fact, our teachers rotated to other classrooms and read to the class as a guest reader. Thank you to Mrs. Shannon for this wonderful opportunity!
